Integrated Decision Support Corporation has announced the acquisition of TransSoft Corporation, a Washington-based fleet management software company specializing in AS/400 software for the truckload industry.

The TransSoft Suite is a resident AS/400 system which provides real-time management of new Hours of Service rules and Load Event Monitoring (appointment scheduling, late arrivals and departures, detention time notification and tracking, unscheduled stops and excessive delays, and off-route miles). The TransSoft Suite offers exception-based alert notification and integrates with any combination of the leading mobile data communications, routing, and fleet management software systems, company officials said.

As part of the acquisition, John Bell, the founder of TransSoft Corp., joins Integrated as Director of AS/400 Development. Bell has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and prior to founding TransSoft held positions with Qualcomm Inc. and Innovative Computing Corporation.
