    McLeod Software said its LoadMaster software suite now offers an automated fuel surcharge function that automatically updates and calculates a carrier’s fuel surcharge based on customer and shipping locations.

    LoadMaster automatically downloads the U.S. Dept. of Energy’s weekly national and regional fuel averages from its website, eliminating the need for manual Internet access and potential errors in recording the averages.
