Internet transportation provider Logistics.com has installed customer relation management software, developed by Seattle-based Onyx Software Corp., across its network.

Use of the Onyx system gives Logistics.com one-click access to critical customer information across the enterprise, enabling the company to align particular options around a customer for better service quality. Logistics.com plans to run all aspects of its business through Onyx, using the software to assist in their efforts to streamline customer, prospect and partner communication across the organization, grow revenue, and increase productivity.

Initially, the primary users of the Onyx product are customer service, sales and marketing personnel at Logistics.com, but the entire enterprise has been trained on and has access to the system, Onyx said. Logistics.com said it is continuing to integrate back-office systems with Onyx on an ongoing basis, with plans to include its accounting application and a third-party bug-tracking application used by technical support and product development.
