Thomas Regional, an online industrial information provider based in New York, has unveiled a new online freight-shipping service called Thomas Regional Freight Quotes.

Accessible around the clock from Thomas Regional's website, this new service lets buyers request competitively priced quotes for shipping services and to complete their transactions in real time, including scheduling, tracking and billing statements.

Freight Quotes is the result of a strategic alliance between Thomas Regional and freightquote.com, a Midwestern freight logistics company that powers the technology behind the service. Access is provided free of charge through Thomas' web site and buyers pay only for shipping services they order.
