PackageTrack's Tracker suite of products was originally designed for the military to monitor foreign military sales and provide a chain of possession history. It can track items as small as an envelope or as large as an M-1 tank, the company said.

"The time has arrived where any company, of any size, shipping anything to anywhere can process, ship, track and trace their freight with the precision of a FedEx or UPS, at a fraction of the cost," said president Pat Patterson.
