    Ron Konezny, one of the founders of PeopleNet Communications, has been name chief operating officer of the company with overall responsibility for all of its U.S. operations. Konezny has served as PeopleNet’s chief financial officer and chief technology officer, and holds two patents for the company’s wireless communications technology.

    The company, headquartered in Minneapolis, has also announced that revenues for the first quarter of 2003 were up 35% over the same period last year. PeopleNet provides tracking and mobile communications services for long-haul and metropolitan area fleets.
