Philadelphia-based third party logistics provider Stonepath Logistics has established a new Project Services division to meet what it says is growing demand for large-scale, complex logistics operations in the oil and energy, construction, manufacturing and entertainment industries.

Through dedicated project teams in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Houston, Asia and Brazil, Stonepath said its new division would make use of domestic and international freight forwarding capabilities including air, ocean and surface transportation, and will be capable of monitoring projects from inception through completion.

Services would include planning and consultation, heavy lift operations, sourcing, consolidation and distribution, warehousing, full and part charters, insurance, export packing, customs clearance and documentation.
