Webb Wheel Products Inc. has purchased automated robotic loaded production equipment to help it expand its manufacturing capabilities for its line of Platinum Hubs for truck wheel assemblies.

Cullman, AL-based Webb introduced the aluminum Platinum Hub wheel assembly earlier this year, for both trucks and trailers. The company also makes spoke wheels, hubs, brake drums and rotors for the medium and heavy-duty truck and trailer and bus industries.

Webb is a member of the Marmon Group of companies, an international association of more than 100 autonomous manufacturing and service companies with collective sales of $7-billion.
