Schneider Logistics, a subsidiary of truckload carrier Green Bay, WI-based Schneider National, has released a new updated version of its Sumit supply chain management software.

Schneider Logistics said the new features have increased the capabilities in both its supply chain integrator and rate server functions. Those system enhancements, said Schneider Logistics, will allow customers increased control over and more accurate and timely visibility to the order release process allowing them to better manage manufacturing and distribution schedules.

New features have increased the capabilities in both Supply Chain Integrator, a supply chain execution platform focused on order release management, and Rate Server, a stand-alone product that allows users to store and retrieve comprehensive rate contract terms.

Other upgrades include order release management, which allows split release capability, release confirmation, file load processing, addition of a new release item, and release item history.
