TIBCO Software Inc. of Palo Alto, CA has extended its enterprise-class, open standards-based Extensibility Markup Language (XML) software line with a new product called XML Transform. XML Transform rounds out TIBCO’s XML design capabilities and enables users to map documents in a visual setting through the creation and debugging of Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT) stylesheets, the company said.

As an enterprise-class XSLT development platform, XML Transform provides an interface for solving real-world data transformations while ensuring flexibility and portability through utilization of open standards, TIBCO said.

“Organizations developing XML-based transformations need sophisticated environments for the creation and debugging of their XSLT stylesheets,” said Lee Buck, VP-XML technologies at TIBCO. “XML Transform delivers these capabilities while ensuring standards compliance and portability between runtime implementations.”
