2004 Tire Training Tour Ready to Hit the Road

The Winter 2004 Commercial Tire Service (CTS) “Truck Tire Training Tour” will begin on January 27-28 in Philadelphia ending February 26-27 in Seattle, according to the Tire Industry Association (TIA). The cost is $250 for each technician who needs a copy of the TIA
The Winter 2004 Commercial Tire Service (CTS) “Truck Tire Training Tour” will begin on January 27-28 in Philadelphia ending February 26-27 in Seattle, according to the Tire Industry Association (TIA).

A complete list of locations and dates with registration information is available from the Association’s website, www.tireindustry.org.

The cost is $250 for each technician who needs a copy of the TIA CTS Manual and $175 for each technician that already owns a copy. Every technician that participates must have his or her own copy of the Manual in order to take the Certification Exam.

During the Fall 2003 Tour, TIA trained 244 technicians in 10 different cities across the country. Since its inception in 1997, TIA’s CTS Program has educated over 14,000 technicians and instructors throughout North America. Participation ensures that employee training meets and exceeds the minimum requirements specified by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulation 29 CFR 1910.177.

February 3-4, Columbus, Ohio
February 5-6, Cincinnati, Ohio
February 10-11, Chicago, Illinois
February 12-13, Madison, Wisconsin
February 17-18, Des Moines, Iowa
February 19-20, Salt Lake City, Utah
February 24-25, Portland, Oregon
February 26-27, Seattle, Washington
