• Werner sells some Transplace shares

    Werner Enterprises Inc. said it would sell 10.28% of its equity interest in Transplace to J.B. Hunt Transport Services on December 31. Werner will still have a 5% equity interest in the logistics provider, which was formed by Covenant Transport, Swift Transportation and U.S. Xpress along with Werner and J.B. Hunt two years ago. Financial terms of the deal were not announced.

    Werner Enterprises Inc. said it would sell 10.28% of its equity interest in Transplace to J.B. Hunt Transport Services on December 31.

    Werner will still have a 5% equity interest in the logistics provider, which was formed by Covenant Transport, Swift Transportation and U.S. Xpress along with Werner and J.B. Hunt two years ago.
