Yokohama Tire Corp. has launched Yokohama Emergency Service (YES), an around-the-clock emergency roadside tire service for all its national accounts.
Yokohama said YES offers safety and security to national fleets throughout the U.S. A YES dispatcher locates the nearest Yokohama dealer available to supply service, verifies credit, issues the purchase order and completes all necessary paperwork.
YES covers all Yokohama medium truck commercial tires available through Yokohama's national account program. All Yokohama national accounts in good standing are automatically eligible for the YES program. "YES is a valuable tool for our customers," said Jim MacMaster, executive vp for Yokohama. "The result is less down time and more productivity for fleets. The benefit to our dealers is additional revenue-generating business through the program referrals."
