FTR Associates, a leading transportation freight forecaster, has scheduled its 2005 conference for Sept. 7, in Indianapolis, IN. This year’s conference is titled “America’s Freight Transportation Through 2009.”

The conference will open with Bill Strauss, senior economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago giving his economic outlook, followed by a U.S. Freight and Modal Share Analysis presented by Ed Graham, senior consultant of FTR Associates. Industry veterans from the trucking, intermodal and rail industries will then present five-year outlooks for their respective transportation segments.
