Pittsburgh, PA-based third-party logistics provider Genco has hired Larry Hruska to serve as president of its pharmaceutical returns business unit, called Capital Returns Inc.
Hruska, a 28-year veteran of the pharmacy industry, will be responsible for aspects of the reverse distribution of pharmaceuticals, including strategic/business planning, financial and risk analysis, inventory control, capital and facilities planning, security and customer service for Genco.
He previously served as vp of pharmacy operations for Kmart, helping manage the national retailer’s 1,408 pharmacies, which produced sales of $2.8 billion a year. His background also includes leadership positions at RX.com, Inc., K&B, Inc., Phar-Mor, Inc., Reliable Drug Stores, Inc. and Rite Aid Corp.
