Marten appoints new CFO

Mondovi, WI-based refrigerated carrier Marten Transport has promoted James Hinnendael to be its new CFO effective Jan. 1, 2006. He will succeed current CFO Darrell Rubel, who is retiring.

Hinnendael is a 14-year veteran of Marten’s management team and most recently served as the carrier’s controller. He previously worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young in its Milwaukee office from January 1987 through December 1991. He holds a degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified public accountant.
