Vanguard National Trailer Corp. today announced that it is making a long-term funding commitment to the American Trucking Assns.’ (ATA) national truck driver recruitment advertising and training campaign.

Through this funding, Vanguard directly assists its motor carrier customers in seeking solutions to their shortage of qualified truck drivers, ATA said.

ATA expects its program to be running by mid-summer. It will include a matching funds program for state trucking association driver recruitment ad campaigns, a job website, and other advertising materials that could be adapted by motor carriers.
