Wayne Keith, 57, seldom goes to the fueling station to power his wood-burning pickup truck.
Keith created a wood-burning system with cooling and filtering units attached to the hood and in the pickup bed, according to an Associated Press report. It has three pedals for brake, gas and wood, respectively.
It takes about 20 lbs. of wood to equal one gallon of gasoline, Keith said.
