Southeastern Freight Lines announced Jim Jones has been promoted to regional vice president of operations. Jones will lead teams in the south-central region of the United States, covering 17 service centers spanning four states, including parts of Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
According to the company, Jones has more than a decade of experience at Southeastern, where he began his career as a driver trainee in Norfolk, VA. After working as a pickup and delivery driver, he was promoted to various leadership positions on the operations side of business, including service center manager in Richmond and Atlanta, GA.
“Jim has an excellent record in leadership development and continually strives to help other employees achieve their career goals,” said Coley Campbell, vice president of service center operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “Jim exudes positivity and fully embraces the Southeastern Freight Lines culture that is based on trust and mutual respect.
