Smith Electric Vehicles Corp. is building a new manufacturing facility in New York state, which plans to start producing Smith's all-electric trucks in 2012. Rubén Díaz Jr., Bronx Borough President, and Bryan Hansel, president and CEO of Smith Electric Vehicles, were on hand for the opening ceremonies.
