CIM Group sells Fort Worth cold storage

March 28, 2024
Modern temperature-controlled warehouse in key logistics hub features 139,000 sq. ft., 36-ft. ceiling heights, and 36 dock-high doors for refrigerated trailers.

CIM Group recently completed and sold a 139,502-sq.-ft. cold storage warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The modern temperature-controlled facility located at 6900 AWG Way sits on approximately 14 acres of property the real estate group acquired in 2020 as part of its purchase of the adjacent 1 million-sq.-ft. Junction 20/35 logistics center, which CIM continues to own and operate, the company reported.

CIM Group designed and constructed the warehouse to provide the “state-of-the-art” features that are in demand by the growing logistics industry. The building features 36-ft. ceiling heights, with 36 dock-high doors and layout conducive to temperature-controlled cold storage use. The property also provides 43 trailer storage spaces.

The site is situated at the nexus of Interstate 20 and Interstate 35, providing access to other areas of Texas and the greater Southern U.S., as well as three airports: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Fort Worth Alliance Airport, and Dallas Love Field. Its location also is convenient to rail transportation and two major intermodal facilities: BNSF Intermodal Facility and Alliance Global Logistics Hub.
