ATDynamics relocates to new facility

Nov. 8, 2012

Aerodynamic supplier ATDynamics has moved its headquarters to a new facility in Hayward, CA. The new location includes a larger manufacturing and assembly plant and will allow the company to meet growing demand for its products, including the TrailerTail line of rear-drag aerodynamic technologies.

“Our new headquarters and production facility in Hayward will allow ATDynamics to quickly meet the growing demand for our fuel-saving technologies,” said Andrew Smith, founder & CEO. “We are proud to play a role in green jobs creation, which is critical to the fiscal health and competitiveness of our home state of California and the nation.”

The new 16,400 sq. ft. manufacturing and warehouse facility quadruples the production capabilities, the company said. The new facility will also house an expanded new product engineering team in addition to corporate headquarters.

ATDynamics plans to add 40 additional jobs in 2013.

“TrailerTails have become a highly visible symbol of the most fuel efficient trucking fleets in the country. With more than 12,000 TrailerTails sold to-date, we will continue to work with U.S. fleets to deploy over 50,000 tails on America's highways by 2014,” said Smith. “Putting TrailerTails on trailers is critical to our national energy strategy and to the competitiveness of long-haul trucking operations.”
