GE updates fleet comparison tool
GE Capital Fleet Services has updated its online comparison application to include even more tools to help fleet managers make fleet size and vehicle make-up decision. The IntelliGauge application now features a range of alternative fuel vehicles, allowing managers to compare fuel costs and efficiencies for any current or conceivable fleet configuration, GE said.
New features include:
- Comparison of current vs. future vehicle populations by fuel type
- Fuel efficiency information of vehicles from the full EPA list, which features thousands of vehicles including hundreds of CNG, CNG conversion, diesel, electric, PHEV, and hybrid vehicles
- The ability to compare more than 550 models from 39 manufacturers for 2013
- Ability to edit standard MPG estimates (to reflect actual observed values within a particular fleet) and modify percentage of electricity/CNG usage
Another feature is the easier-to-navigation user interface that allows editing, saving and sharing (via email or Twitter) of specific fleet scenarios. Â
The application is free to use with registration and can be accessed via this link. It can be used online as well as with smartphones and the iPad.
