• Omnitracs taps Speicher for CTO

    July 10, 2014

Dan Speicher recently joined fleet management firm Omnitracs LLC as the firm’s chief technology officer (CTO).

A 25 year veteran of the information management industry, Speicher will be responsible for providing a consolidated product vision and development strategy across all Omnitracs business units.

Speicher comes to Omnitracs from Hughes Telematics (HTI), where he led teams that developed a variety of telematics solutions. Following Verizon’s purchase of HTI, he led the organization’s corporate integration initiatives.

Prior to his stint with HTI, Speicher spent 20 years with InfoGroup, a multinational list data and marketing solutions provider, where as CTO he oversaw mergers and acquisitions and the development of a shared-services infrastructure.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Speicher flew on airborne intelligence collection missions during the Cold War and also served as an instructor and curriculum developer for airborne intelligence collection courses.
