Telogis has released Fleet 10, a scalable fleet management solution and integral part of the company’s cloud-based location intelligence platform, it said. The solution assists companies requiring dynamic routing, real-time work order management, navigation, telematics and mobile integration services for mobile workforces.
“With the release of Fleet 10, Telogis continues to redefine the industry standard by taking feedback from our customers and delivering the kinds of features and functionality they require to be competitive,” said Mark Wallin, vice president of product management-Telogis Fleet and Mobile.
Fleet 10 includes several new safety features, accessible through the Driver Scorecard option. The scorecard provides comprehensive metrics to help identify trends in driver behavior. The software provides easier-to-read reports on behaviors such as hard braking, hard acceleration, excessive speeding, speeding vs. posted speed limit, seatbelt use and after-hours vehicle use. Drivers receive in-cab alerts to encourage safe driving habits, the company said.
Telogis Supervisor is a new mobile app for smartphones and tablets that allows field supervisors to access information on their teams in the field. Compatible with virtually all mobile devices, Telogis Supervisor can show where workers are in relation to other vehicles and assets. Data such as customer information, driver data, recent stops and histories and how close a vehicle is to a job can all be displayed. It also allows users to view geographic information systems (GIS) layers, providing access to weather and traffic details.
Also included in the new release is fuel monitoring technologies that combine telematics and fuel card reporting. This data helps companies reduce fuel spending by providing actionable information that helps managers identify potential fuel shrinkage by using match reports and mpg data.
The solution also offers real-time traffic and weather, advanced compliance reporting, vehicle histories and personnel management functions, asset management, ad-hoc reporting, custom GIS layers, satellite street views, geofencing and asset security features.
