    Feb. 5, 2014

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has released a video on getting started with electronic onboard recording/electronic logging device technology. The video is part of the company’s EOBR/ELD educational series.

The newly released video is part of a six video series developed to help drivers at both fleets and independent contractors learn more about electronic onboard recording and HOS compliance requirements.

The new video, entitled “Start-up,” provides basic instructions for operating the VDO RoadLog EOBR/ELD. It features a quick start guide for first-time users, as well as instructions for log in/out, creating and printing HOS logs and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and transferring data to the RoadLog fleet software via the Driver’s Key.

The video presents a step-by-step guide to using the VDO RoadLog from a driver’s perspective. It addresses proper installation and company configuration within the Fleet Software and demonstrates how to operate the RoadLog hardware.
