Compli, a provider of human resources and compliance management software, has named a new vice president of development.

Darrel Young will manage the development team and the company’s technology strategy, Compli said. Young joins the company with over 30 years of experience in product and project leadership and software development.

For the previous 12 years, Young worked at Epicore, serving in product management, application and software development positions.

“Darrel’s depth of experience with understanding business requirements, his leadership of software teams and his proven ability to lead product strategy will be pivotal as we continually strive to provide enhanced business process capabilities to our broad base of customers,” said Lon Leneve, president & CEO of Compli. “Not only will his team create next generation capabilities for clients, but his leadership and team skills will enable us to deliver these capabilities in a fully tested and timely manner.”

“I am excited about the ability to rapidly implement actionable intelligence solutions and bring them to market with Compli,” said Young. “My experience in software design and management should help accelerate these offerings and help bring new additions to the forefront in 2012,” concluded Young.
