According to J.J. Keller, 25 state trucking associations have now endorsed its E-Logs, powered by Encompass, online compliance and safety solution.

Encompass captures in-cab data from J. J. Keller’s onboard recorder, automates hours of service, and provides comprehensive audit reporting.

The following state associations have endorsed the solution, the company said: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

“We’re providing a technology solution that provides real value to a business. Companies that have adopted E-Logs regularly cite that the real-time reporting from in-cab technology actually increases driving time, with better routing and time management and improves compliance with hours-of-service regulations,” said Rustin Keller, vice president of business services. “The end result is a more profitable operation.”

The electronic logging solution captures and audits all of a company’s driver logs, providing online reporting and compliance information that can immediately improve fleet operations. It also stores driver and vehicle data, such as driver files and vehicle maintenance records, within the web-based service.
