Additional features added to CarrierWeb’s LogsManager electronic on-board recording (EOBR) system make compliance monitoring with current Hours of Service regulations easier, according to the company.
LogsManager allows drivers and dispatchers the ability to monitor driver availability via the CarrierWeb customer web site. It can be added to a CarrierMate in-cab communications system without additional hardware.
The software allows dispatchers to have better information for the assigning of drivers, trucks, trailers and loads; allows drivers to keep accurate records and spend less time entering data into log books; and offers compliance managers immediate access to information required to meet FMCSA regulations. Drivers also get audible and text alerts to let them know of their HOS status.
