A new offering from DP&C Enterprises, a provider of supply chain solutions, offers vehicle monitoring and real-time notification alerts to cost-conscious fleets.

SmartFleet is a next generation management system, the company said, giving fleets the ability to  manage mobile resources while streamlining operation costs through a 5-5-10 savings program. DP&C said the program provides a quick return on investment through a 5% fuel savings, a 5% reduction in driver hours and a 10% savings on insurance premiums.

A web-based solution, SmartFleet is unlike standard GPS systems, the company said. It delivers real-time information and can be configured with any GPS hardware. Integration with customer-based operating systems or Enterprise Resource Planning systems is also seamless.
