James P. Hogg, a faculty member at the University of Central Florida, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Pegasus TransTech Users Conference. Hogg will speak on emerging technologies, how they will likely impact business and their potential within the transportation industry.
The Users Conference is scheduled for April 21-22 at the Marriott Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL.
“We’ll see a paradigm shift in technology,” said Hogg. “What we’re seeing now is just the beginning of it.”
Among the topics Hogg will speak on are the rapidly emerging capabilities of mobile devices, the potential of radio frequency identification (RFID) embedded in devices and wireless networks.
“We’re very pleased to have James as our keynoter,” said Bob Helms, Pegasus chairman & CEO. “He will help our attendees understand the likely impact of evolving technologies as well as the potential of those developments in their own business environments.”
