Innovative Products of America is now offering technicians a MUTT. The Mobile Universal Trailer Tester (MUTT) allows technicians to quickly inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose trailer electrical system problems, eliminating guesswork and drastically cutting down on repair time.

With a rugged Unibody cart and 10-in. pneumatic tires, the MUTT is ideal for rough terrain. Powered by any standard car battery, it can handle loads up to 20 amps per circuit. Once connected to the trailer, a tech can scan for faults, overloads, cross and open circuits, ground integrity, and view amperage readout for each circuit.

The remote control allows a tech to manually select power to each circuit while visually inspecting the lights and ABS control module. If the MUTT senses a short circuit, it automatically enters into the power pulsing mode and jolts power to the troubled circuit every 3 sec. until a short is no longer detected.

Included is a 5-ft., seven-way round pin cable, wireless remote and 10-ft. chassis ground cable.
