Swift opts for Transflo Express

Swift Transportation has become the latest fleet to adopt Pegasus TransTech’s Transflo Express scanning services. Transflo speeds cash flow, reduces costs and increases driver efficiency in transmitting delivery documents, according to Pegasus. Drivers simply hand over their documents for scanning to a fuel desk attendant at one of more than 500 truckstop locations nationwide. The attendant scans and delivers the documents to the appropriate contact at fleet headquarters.

"We are excited about our drivers now being able to deliver loads and scan their paperwork in the same day," said Renee Krug, vp of finance at Swift Transportation. "Transflo Express will allow drivers to get paid quicker, and for Swift to bill our customers more efficiently. Our focus is to provide constant and consistent availability for service-sensitive customers, and we believe Transflo Express will help us provide superior service on our road to best-in-class."

Swift operates over 17,000 trucks nationwide, producing $3.4 billion in revenues a year.
