• MHC Kenworth named Paccar MX Dealer of the Year award

    MHC Kenworth – Kansas City was named the Paccar MX Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada at the recent Kenworth Dealer Meeting in Columbus, OH. It is the first time Kenworth has handed out this particular award.

    “We’re thrilled to be the first Kenworth dealer to win this award,” said Tim Murphy, CEO of MHC, which operates 43 Kenworth dealerships in 10 states, including MHC Kenworth  - Kansas City. “We’ve seen a tremendous customer response to the Paccar MX engine due to its outstanding performance in drivability and fuel economy. This award represents our commitment to help customers appreciate the benefits of the MX engine and to provide them with world-class service for this world-class engine.”

    More than 20,000 trucks now operate with the Paccar MX, said Gary Moore, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president.

    It is available with a horsepower range of 380 to 485 and torque up to 1,750 lbs.-ft. on selected Kenworth Class 8 models.
